I believe in Freedom of Speech, though there are limitations towards the freedom like you can’t yell “FIRE!” in a movie theater or “GUN!” in a crowd when there is no present danger.

Freedom of Speech or at least my understanding is, the government can’t limit free speech though schools, local businesses, etc. can limit the speech you have like cursing / swears.

I stand by the Freedom of Speech as a whole, not just as a selected thing that I can wear as a badge to say whatever I want when in reality it is more complicated than that.

The virtue I see for free speech is for populations politically oppressed by an authoritarian regime. Free speech to reach emancipation. This symbol became less and less desirable though, since freedom of speech is regularly invoked by first world people wishing to spread hate speech.

Yes, I believe in freedom of speech. One can say whatever one wants, but one must be responsible for what one says. There may be consequences. Libel, for example.

I believe that people should be able to say what they want without the fear of going to jail however I’m not going to fight for the rights of other people to go on racist rants online without censorship.

Yes. But with power also comes responsibility. Just because you CAN say anything doesn't mean you should say anything. And hate speech is not free speech.
