Libs go on and on about "due process". Do they even know what due process means? It simply means following a set of rules and processes. It's very different for different things. It's different for criminal offenses than civil offenses. It's different at the federal level than it is at the state or local level.

For foreign nationals entering the US, the process is pretty simple. They are required to show they are allowed to enter. Once they enter, they are required to show they are allowed to still be here. If they can't show that, they can be deported.

THAT is due process. That's how it works, and how it's worked for a very long time. It's also how it works in other countries. There is no trial. There is no court or judge. If they don't have the proper documentation they can be deported. Simple as that.

If you try to enter any other country without proper documentation, do you think you'll go to court? Of course not. You'll be turned away at the border. They'll put you on a plane, or train, or bus and send you off.

Asylum is something entirely different. If they have asylum, by definition they are legal. Same with refugees. I don't know if either one can be revoked, but I assume they can. For that matter, so can green card holders.

Dont particularly care. First of all, there is international laws that contradict that in most circumstances. Secondly, its a stupid law since the act of crossing a border does no harm to me and does not bother me, its a thing that the government is concerned about and not average citizens. Thirdly, giving the government power to deport and ban illegal immigrants is an inherent danger since that power can be abused by the government.

I am far more concerned about the government misusing power than I am about some illegal immigrant coming to "take my job" or whatever. Tell me this, why should I, as a normal citizen, care?

I'm conservative but the part I don't understand is you enter the country illegally, get arrested but your status is changed and you're allowed to stay legally but then get deported and stuck in a foreign jail without being convicted of a crime in any country.
