Its an idea with merit for sure , how you go about it is another thing , but the process needs to be followed not just in USA , sure USA will find most wastage purely due to size , but needs to happen pretty much everywhere.
I saw plenty of wastage in Australia , call use 1 x US State size wise , but in percentage terms , its human nature right?
I once worked for a State government property developer ( Australia ) .. Now who was the bright spark that came up with that idea? They would argue.. But we make this massive profit? NO you dont , they were given the land and paid after completed sale , How could they not make heeps? $$$$ It had a CEO 500K 15 years ago ( Female ) , now you need people to manage right? The entire thing snowballed , it was a joke.
It does not exist now ( as it never should have existed in the first place ) , and this is a legit example , before we even talk of complete and utter waste. Net position for the State is maxed.

they are so smart and is doing a great job.
Those informations should be out there on a daily bases… I don’t get why others don’t see that kind of spending was a problem.
well… it actually translates to their own spending habits… living in debt.

Elon has done a great job. Hopefully the work he started will continue and we will at least be back to pre covid spending levels and there will be progress made in decreasing the national debt.

I think that they overstate their accomplishments and understate their failures. I also don't know if creating another subsidized federal agency is the smartest way to shrink government
