Knowledge is simply knowledge. Like a bunch of ingredients can be a meal. Or not.

What you do with that knowledge, ambition, perseverance, leadership, vision, etc. can turn that knowledge into power.

If instead you sit on the couch and play video games, cannot connect the dots, don't really care, have zero ambition, and have no ability to inspire other people, that knowledge is irrelevant and may as well not exist.

It is, but it depends on what kind of knowledge. If you have knowledge about religion or history, it won't really get you that far in life. If you have knowledge in financial literacy, politics, and psychology, you'll be able to get far in life. The sky's the limit in that scenario.

Applied knowledge maybe. It's like a proffessor at college that teaches finance but never worked in it or made any money.

"Agree or disagree?"🤣 Are you seriously asking if knowing things is better than being an ignorant fool? Lol.

Knowledge gives you power to make informed decisions.

Knowledge also gives you the power to teach others.

Knowledge is an ongoing thing though so it can also be a curse if you don't continue to learn.

Knowledge can be powerful when say your a boss, manager or teacher etc. and someone under you questions your instructions that you have given them and you can provide a clear picture of exactly why your asking them to do something.

I think most people with knowledge just ignore most people. My grandpa used to say that he was glad he was losing his hearing because he didn't want to listen to most anyhow. In my life i find that if i have an interest in a subject and study it that many will show disdain or anger because they feel threatened.

LOL. Don't be daft,. Librarians don't have any power other than saying "shush".

"Knowledge is power" is a bullshit platitude said to naïve kids to make them work - rather than acquiring real power.

KNOWLEDGE is POWER within reason however if you don’t use that power or do anything with that power it’s as useless as tits on a bull.

    It’s power but also sorrow

So if you consider that happiness is also power you can argue that knowledge is a weakness in a way as well

Depends. Like those with inside knowledge of Trump's economic decisions made some pretty good profits with little effort but those with the same knowledge days later have no extra leverage

It can be, if you have money, or political power, or military force under your control.

Without that, knowledge can be power only if you're a genius inventor.
