Is it one of the President’s priorities to always uphold the US Constitution, its many articles found in the US Constitution?

Article II, Section 1, Clause 8:

“Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:– I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S1-C8-1-5/ALDE_00013936/

“Will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of The United States.”

And be sure to skip to 2:03 to hear Trump’s distortion of duty before continuing below..

Q: “Don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of The United States, Mr. President?”

A: “I don’t know, I have to respond again, I have a team of brilliant lawyers that work for me, and that will obviously follow The Supreme Court orders”

Reminder of the SCOTUS Orders :“For all the rhetoric of the dissents, today’s order and per curium confirm that the detainees subject to removal orders under the (Alien Enemies Act) are entitled to notice and an opportunity to challenge their removal. The only question is which court will resolve that challenge,”.

TRUMP either doesn’t know whats going on OR he is choosing not to listen to the checks and balances our founders put in place to prevent corruption / choosing not to listen to The SACRED Founding Document... The President isn’t a king, George Washington made that clear in his speeches, actions, and his dignified resignation. Donald Trump is a stain on our Republic of Democratic values.

*SCOTUS in a sweeping ruling 24 days ago made it clear that President Donald J Trump cannot deport Venezuelans without ‘litigation’ utilizing Alien & Enemies Act. This is precedent that will be around under all future Administrations so, I’m pleased with this. Just to highlight the point further.

Good News June 9th 2025 - Trump returned all wrongfully deported persons without due process, so they are given their right to due process in the American legal system that they are entitled to by law.
