*SCOTUS in a sweeping ruling 24 days ago made it clear that President Donald J Trump cannot deport Venezuelans without ‘litigation’ utilizing Alien & Enemies Act. This is precedent that will be around under all future Administrations so, I’m pleased with this. Just to highlight the point further.

Good News June 9th 2025 - Trump returned all wrongfully deported persons without due process, so they are given their right to due process in the American legal system that they are entitled to by law.

Be careful. The media takes things out of context. Trump was answering a question specifically about handling illegals. People are still discussing whether the Constitution applies only to citizens, or to illegals as well.

2ndly I agree that we should analysis the bigger picture since Press can change couple of words around and ask carefully coded questions or manipulate in someway but, genuinely seems in the full clip Trump puts the focus on his ‘brilliant’ lawyers to do something about it not him then asked ‘Isn’t it your job to uphold?’ He goes ‘don’t know, have to consult my lawyers for that’. Seems like he missed the mark.

Do you have brain damage or where you born mentally retarded? I'm just curious, because Trump is clearly telling you he's delegated authority to appointed lawyers at DOJ. It's well established Constitutional law that the President of the United States is authorized to designate and empower the head of any department or agency in the executive branch, or any official thereof to perform without approval, ratification, or other action by the President any function which is vested in the President by law. Clearly he has done that and they are utilizing their legal expertise to interpret the ruling from the Supreme Court and act accordingly in their duties.

What this post ignores is that President Trump wasn’t saying he would personally override the Constitution—he was referring to what his legal team believed could be challenged based on alleged election fraud. He repeatedly defers to constitutional lawyers, not unilateral power. That’s a far cry from Biden, who did unilaterally attempt to bypass the Constitution by pushing student loan forgiveness after the Supreme Court had already ruled against it.

If we’re holding presidents accountable to the Constitution, we should apply that standard consistently—not just when it suits a political narrative.
