I think it should be Gulf of America, because it doesn't border any one nation, and North America is the continent it resides on. "Gulf of Mexico" seems racist to me.

MExico has the longest amount of shoreline along the Gulf of Mexico, so it is more appropriate that it remain named so.

However, it is such an unimportant and ridiculous waste of Congressional time to bring UP this issue with what's going on with the border issues, deportations and the dozens of lawsuits against these executive orders, despite the courts' rulings against them, I don't see why it has even been brought up.
