Think it's a maturity thing. Young people are in favour of Liberals and their policies especially in college etc until they grow up get married a have kids and they suddenly realise that nothing is free and that all these liberal policies like free healthcare, housing illegals, trans story time, free abortions, no student loans, slave reparations etc you aren't going to be paid for by the government but instead by them getting the shit taxed out of their earnings and property.
