By opposing illegal immigration I mean closed borders to illegal immigrants. I am fine with legal immigration. Can I still consider myself a proponent of "social justice"? Why or why not?

Because you are holding an irrational position. You dont actually have any good arguments for why the border should be closed or why illegal immigrants should be deported. While you can technically form actual reasonable opinions along these lines I can guarantee that yours are stupid. Why? Because this always happens. Illegal immigration and "open borders" (the borders has never actually been open by the way just to prove a point) is a conversation that has become so tainted that actual propaganda has just been accepted as the truth.

You have NO idea about the actual conversation regarding illegal immigration is. Everything you think you know is probably wrong and you have never cared enough about the subject to begin patch things up. You obviously dont care. You obviously dont know anything. I dont know. Why would you, as an average citizen, even care? It has nothing to do with you really. This is a problem for the government and their paperwork, not actual people.
