@katiesmuff gas prices are down and so are eggs. Inflation has been steadily decreasing over the last 3 months and April numbers are expected to continue that trend. The jobs numbers were good nd my retirement account has recovered almost to the March 2025 amount.

What the fuck are you reading? Gas here is 3:79 per gal, was barely over 3.00 in January. Egg prices went crazy during the bird kill off (not the fault of Biden or trump) and are slowing coming down as the producers new flocks are beginning to lay eggs, and I have seen NO decrease in any other grocery item anywhere, even oranges, grapefruits and strawberries which are grown across the road from my home. I sure see price increases on the food and liquor I have to buy for the restaurant or any other restaurant which is why all of us have to raise the prices to customers. We in the end maybe break even.

@katiesmuff Gas in the NE is 2.69 as of Saturday. On Jan 20th it was 3.39. Eggs are 4 bucks a doz down from 6 dollars. My retirement account it 0.05%down from what it was in March as of todays close. I have not seen any increase in the price of anything else. When Biden was president every week was sticker shock.

Some retirement accounts when down as much as 25% since March. Guess Why? Does the word Tariff come to mind. Fortunately they for the moment are beginning to recover, but it is still a waiting game.
