It's very easy to say yes and I would like to say yes. But when I think about it, there are a lot of women I support on the Trump administration for example who I think are capable of doing an excellent job. But the more I think about it the more I think that they're great in the positions they have but would not necessarily be great in the most powerful leadership position in the world.
While I can think of a few men I would support for that position (although none of them as strongly as I support President Trump), I can't think of any women who I think are suited for it.
There's a lot of considerations that aren't obvious at first. For example, one of the most important functions of that job is to manage foreign relations. Good or bad, a lot of the countries you have to deal with would not respect a female leader. And you need to get both the respect and the fear of your adversaries or you cannot be successful. And unfortunately for America many of our adversaries do not respect women in positions of leadership.
That's a major problem, but not the only one.
I cannot think of a woman I would support for president. And as much as I want to, I don't know if I ever could.
Women and men are not the same. It's not only their physical differences but there are significant mental and emotional differences. I think the reason that women don't hold as many leadership positions in either the private or public sector is more about the differences between men and women then about discrimination.
I have no trouble voting for a female presidential candidate who I agree with and feel is qualified for the job, what I will not do is vote for a female presidential candidate who I feel is unqualified for the just just to elect the first female president.
Yeah if I agree with her politics. I won’t vote for someone just because she’s a woman.
Not from the USA but women are just as capable of running a country so yes.

Not American, so I have no vote.
We have had one female Prime Minister who almost won under her own steam and she immediately broke her most important and seemingly sincere election promise.
That is when the Ditch The Witch placards broke out. She didn't make it to the next election because her own party ditched the witch towards the end of term to avoid being trounced.
I think female political leaders are problematical. IRL women can get away with stuff men can't because men are held accountable. In politics women are held accountable so they tend to stuff up.
In 2024, as a former Trump supporter I cast my ballot to Kamala Harris so yes I definitely would be open to electing the first female President of The United States of America on the terms that sometimes the best man for the job, is a woman.
I saw her as a prosecutor who would follow the rule of law, promote positive stability in the housing market, promote small businesses, and allow for a generational accumulation of wealth for those struggling to allow them a brighter future.
Sadly, not everyone saw things the way it was and now we are stuck with this old senile buffoon. Nevertheless, I am proud to vote for an American woman for President of The United States of America to show those boys how it is done. We have female governors, mayors, and other elected representatives so, when will women have their President? Not just women, The American People!
Of course, and most Americans would too if the best candidate happened to be a woman. Unfortunately that hasn't happened yet. I don't choose who I support based on their sex or skin color; I choose in spite of those things.
Take Harris for example. Anyone who voted for her did so because she was a black woman. They were willing to overlook the fact that she was a supremely unqualified buffoon with no vision for how to make America better, and with a four year track record of failure in the one task she was given.
Short answer Yes. Longer answer - I wouldn’t vote for someone just for being a woman but I wouldn’t vote against someone just for being a woman either. I’m someone who wants to vote for the best possible option if that so happens to be a woman she has my vote.
Not American but if I was yes. Though I don't vote ethier so...
We've had quite a few women leaders speaking for us England, some were terrible some were more terrible though the guys were the same. As such are most leaders. It has nothing to do with sex.
For the right female, qualified with a proven record, and better than the other candidates, I'd have no problem voting for a female for President.
I have voted for females for other offices... many times. So far, none of the female Presidential candidates have met that criteria.
You can only be president if you keep your emotions out of the way. Woman are often more emotional beings compared to men and therefore it takes a special type of woman who can shut down her emotional side. Only cold selfish people are drawn to this function
Sure. Gimmie one that's worth voting for!! So far, all we've had are crooks, assholes and idiots! If Tulsi runs next time, she's got my vote! I'd have no problem voting for Candy Owens or that governor's daughter, Sandra? She was press sec. during Trump's first term.
My theory is that the average voter, male or female, when standing in the room with no one else looking before casting his or her ballot is not likely to pick a woman.
I’m not from the US so I can’t help it either way but it’s not even about sexism it’s a cultural wiring to not to identify leadership qualities in a woman
Even women don’t wanna be lead by a woman
Ever is a long time. Depends on the alternative a lot. Frankly, the press lady could be president. she'd be better than Kamala, give her a few years.
some men don't respect women, that creates risk to military lives. King of Saudi arabia going to respect a woman president, as an example?
I don't discriminate against gender, sex, or ethnicity. If one has the skills, will power, and a strong sense of morality, then they can run for the position. My issue is when the one running is a morrally corrupt PoS who is utterly incompetent and can't even understand the most basic rules of economics. The properity of the working class is always the priority! Without a working class there is no country.
*prosperity
Yes. But she has to be educated, understand foreign policy and do right by all Americans regardless who they are.
Lastly, really putting an emphasis of doing right by AMERICANS. Not other countries
Tulsi Gabbard had a good shot at getting my vote... but the Democrats shit on her for the shit shows that gave us the worst 4 years in modern history. .
I have... Twice... It seems the only way Donald Trump can win the presidency is by running against a woman.
Why not? All I'm worried about is competence. Not gender, not race, not sexuality, not skin color, etc. Just competence.
Black or white, man or woman, right or left I don't give a fuck. If I like your goals and policies that's how you get my vote.
I feel torn about this. I've been in a place with female leaders. I'm not convinced that they make the best leaders. However sometimes a woman might stand for the right things.
20% saying no, including a few women?
Depressing result.
Of course, women have been in positions like that at least since ancient Egypt. Hatshepsut did a way better job than Akhenaten.
Been there done that. I'd do it again for a good candidate.
If a Margaret Thatcher came along, I would vote for her in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, most western women are airheads. Even the ones that will get angry when they read this.
Maybe, but it would depend on who else as running. I would vote for virtually ANY woman if her opponent was a Republican, and would never vote for any Republican, male or female.
Well, I don't think there are any groups that I;d object to besides the current one.
sure if they actually found someone worth voting for.
If she has leadership qualities. A female who wants to hurt another female for not reason sounds scary
It is very unlikely that I will ever vote for a female President.
Sure, as long as she isn't a left wing lunatic or a Democrat
The choices of any gender have been pretty poor in the last 3 elections.
A female president is unbecoming of a superpower like the usa. The charisma of the country would be destroyed.
If we ever get a female president worth voting for. I would've voted for Nikki Haley had she gotten her party's nomination.
It be nice if they have strong women to run. Hillary and Kamala? Really?
Like Former President Bill Clinton said, the first US Female President will be a conservative.
Every single civilization that gave woman power collapsed in less than 2 generations.
I did in the last election. 😊
Just as long as it's not one of the cabal.
If I agree with her policies then absolutely
Yes, if she was competent and not aliberal.
Why is this even a question lol
Why wouldn't I? Huh? 🤔
Yes if I agreed with her.
I did in 2020.
If she had policies that I liked I’d vote for her.
Why wouldn't I?
Yes, if she is for America.
I voted for one in 2020
I'm not from the USA but yes I would.
Yes. Sometimes men are wrong.
Yes. Sometimes men are wrong.
If she’s good yeah.
Already have twice.
Depends on her boobs
I did Nikki Haley
