Here is the thing, earth doesn't care about climate change, animals going extinct (including humans) and forrest destruction. It couldnt care less. The problem is, we humans need the earth to survive and if we care about animals not dying thats a good indication it won't happen to us as well. So for earth its neither good nor bad, for animals its probably good if only humans go extinct BUT the reason humans wouod go extinct is probably the same many animals do as well.

Except for domesticated animals and plants, most species would thrive if humans went extinct. Other than what could be discovered by digging, in 100,000 years, there would be no visible evidence that humans ever existed. Even the Great Pyramids would not exist.
