Home maintenance. I've been gone a lot from Nov 2024 to the last few weeks. 10 weeks. Then a few 2 - 3 week stints. Then recently a couple of 1 week trips. It wasn't a problem in winter when there wasn't much to do outside. But with spring here and summer around the corner, I've been going night and day to get all the outdoor and indoor home and yard maintenance stuff caught up before I go wheels up for another part of the planet again. Really considering ditching the house for a condo these days. I really don't need this much living space, the pool, or an acre of lawn as a single guy.

My back being sore from getting a truck out of the mud. It was up to it's axels. I always had all these ideas about how to do it. Turns out I was dead right but now my back hurts. Not right away though, I worked with a bunch of heavy steel too, that finally made my back want to spasm to protect it's self. I don't do enough heavy labor so I'm not used to it like I was. But if you're stuck doing lighter work then that's what you do. I need to read up on some ways to make the back stronger.

Get everything done in time : take my daughter to school, drive back home, take my wife to work, exercise a bit, rush back home because someone needs an urgent translation (I work freelance), pick up my wife before 2 pm, drive home, have a quick bite, prepare lunch for my daughter, pick her up at school and drive her straight to music school, work some more and pick her up again when she leaves. By that time, the sun has set and it's time to call it a day.
