What do Los Angeles in America and Ballymena in Ireland have in common? That's right, they're both rioting about immigration. The Irish are even putting stickers on windows so they know who's house to burn down.
Y'all are missing the London. Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool Manchester and Nottingham riots in the 1980s in England. They took the biscuit and kicked off a serious working class hatred of Thatcher's regime. I was at school and there was a wee drama in my home town that got some attention but because it was white working class youth involved it got ignored by media because they really didn't want to take the spotlight off the black English rioters fighting against the destruction of working class neighbourhoods thanks to English voters in the home counties being supported by the North Sea oil Scots had suggested would be best used to produce a sovereign wealth fund but Thatcher wanted to set up the City of London as a rather posh centre for money laundering and pay off thugs to destroy British coal, steel and other working class industries.
I have great confidence in the Irish. How long did the IRA wage a war? I'd be disappointed if they didn't do riots far better. Putting stickers on houses to burn is the organization level I expect.
I presume in the Irish the riots are against immigration rather than for as in LA
Two 14 years old Romanians allegedly tried to force a girl to give them a BJ. Word spread they needed an interpreter at police station and it kicked off a riot.
Ah. From what I have read the Irish gov't wants to make Ireland multicultural so I thought it would be around that. Sexual assault by an immigrant is always going to be a flash point.

@Levin Thanks for that video.. Of course their is Eire and Northen Ireland. The Eire gov't seems to be pleased that Eire is becoming multicultural and to pushing irish people out of where they have lived by increasing rental much as this woman is complaining of in Northern Ireland.
It would seem to be poor policy and for there to be a good chance of something like a new IRA arising to deal with it.
If you ID and search rioters in Ireland they are rioting honestly and for good reason. If you ID the current actors in LA lighting things on fire and tossing a couple things you find the fat roll of bills they were paid by trump to do it. Then there are the Lakers fans in LA, they are a complete other ball of wax. Europe always does everything better.

I haven't witnessed the LA riots but the Ballymena shiote are not all that far from The Troubles. It's a lot more pervasive than it may seem - it's the passive aggressive usually but increasingly fully aggressive and barely masked treatment across the board.
Apples and oranges, one are people rioting against migrants (don't k now if legal or not)... because of a trigger issue where romanians attempted/raped a girl. they are burning down houses of migrants... that's really bad.
The others riot to keep the migrants in place as they reject the USA... holding foreign flags.
Both defeated British rule, now both are affected with invasion of illegals. Of course protestors have different goals, the Irish people want to get rid of immigrants, people who protest in US are against deportation of illegals. However one thing they in common, they both hate their government.
Personally I support Irish people for their desire to live in ethnically homogeneous society.

Nobody riots better than LA. The Watts riots were legendary and lets not forgt the Rodney King riots. Then we had the OJ Simpson riots. I think that the LA riots of 2025 will top them all. This is the first time the US Marines have been called and I am sure the damage to private property will be greater than at any other time in history. Way to go LA! Good Job Mayor Bass.
So far the LA riots have been substandard compared to their other ones. I think Gen Z is slacking really. Even their looting is substandard… and some of them actually got caught, WTF! We must now settle with close-up’s on a few robo-taxi fires. So disappointing. The National Guard can’t even shoot them because it’s so lame and non-scary.
The far-left riots better than everyone else combined. They're far more organized, they're far more funded, and they've done it far more often. If only they could put that effort into a lifelong career (or even holding down a basic job) and being a properly functioning member of civilized society.
Burning down homes... Is just a waste of money and good property. Especially in time of housing crisis. Plus Filipino girls are cute so if they are living there why on earth would you want them gone?
Re riots, do remember that it is often the government that orchestrates much of the violence. Do a Google search on the criminal activities of COINTELPRO ~ a government rule organization that caused much of the violence during the Vietnam era.
I gotta give the edge to the US. It looks like the Irish have “mostly peaceful protest” down pat, based on the images you’ve posted. I am gonna go look for videos now though.
Nobody because they ruined things. Peaceful protest is one thing, but nobody peacefully protests anymore no matter what they call it

The people you talk about identity as northern Irish and Ballymena being in the east side of Northern Ireland means its the ulster prodestants or British that are doing it.
