Well there is reason why it would never happen cause I would just learn how to hack, and so would others this way we could just hack into banks and make tons of money.

Which right away once purge is over would collapse society as the country along with all citizens go bankrupt quite literally. Hence why the purge could never happen, unless it's just 'Only murder is legal for 24hrs' something like that would but not all crimes are legal.

Also if one is in prison it means they can just leave right? Breaking out would not be a crime.

The logic side of purge don't exist. Therefore I can't have logical reasoning to what I would do in this case realistically tbh.

Just stay in my apartment. I doubt they would want to break in where I live. Not that it's a bad area but most people would try to rob the suburbs.
