And now Speaker Mike Johnson just called on the Senate to censure... Sen. Alex Padilla. The man who was manhandled, despite having identified himself as a US senator.

Acceptable to whom?

That question has completely different answers, based on a single modifier. I believe there are three possible responses:

• Those that don't care how many lies are told, because they believe the lies, and simply accept everything they're told.
• Those that know they're lies, but absolutely do not care, so long as they are getting what they want, regardless.
• Those that actually do their research, find the lying abhorrent, and completely inappropriate.

Unfortunately, there are far too many in the first two categories, and not nearly enough in the third category. Which is why we're in the mess we're in, now.

No lies are acceptable, when one lies that doesn’t justify the other side to ignore it because it should enable people towards the center to hold both accountable where others dare not.
All politicians lie, politics can get dirty, but it is for the people to be the referees.
We keep the tally and rally together to stand for what is right.
We tell our children not to lie, why wouldn’t we expect the same from our leaders?

This guy burst into the room. nobody knew just who he was. DHS Sec. Noem has been under attack by the public and obviously she had extra protection. The FBI agents that took this guy down were doing their job. This sends a clear message that the Trump administration is not screwing around. The Republicans have gotten the reputation of all talk and no action. This shows them that there is a new boss who is not the same as the old boss.
