The rule of law will be respected and justice restored in this country! All those in power who run right over it will face justice and ‘i was just following orders’ will not save them.

Price of travel, Anger in the air, and The urgency of it all plays a key role in the development of crowds.

I couldn’t tell you an exact reason for the small DC crowd size, though I can certainly tell you that if people felt no urgency, no anger, also couldn’t afford to go then yeahhh the number of occupants would be predictably low.

I will say ‘No Kings’ had anger about the current Administration in deep Democratic regions (the cities), Democrats don’t have to travel far, and the ‘urgency’, the need to stand up to the bad foreign policy, the Executive Order wanting to redact Natural Born Citizenship forever, actions against Due Process, utilizing ICE and National Guard in a blatant power struggle, and floating idea to remove Habeas Corpus or that Habeas Corpus gives Trump the right to deport whoever which isn’t what it means, etc.

’No Kings’ had numbers compared to Washington DC Celebration of Army also because Flag Day isn’t really celebrated or well known like Memorial Day, Veterans Day, July Fourth, or Juneteenth. If Flag Day always had a parade or a big extravaganza then I can assure you the numbers of individuals in the crowd would be exponentially wider.

Just my opinions on the matter, I don’t exactly have a ‘one and done’ theory, just a collection of ideas. I do believe anger influences crowd size, we saw January 6th.

I just don’t think a simple photograph tells us everything, analysis does too.

I live in a smaller centralized town and I see too many MAGA hats that I actively hated my town and state. I don't think I belong here.

Yesterday fundamental shifted my protection of everything. The middle road of only 3 main roads pack to the gills. More people protesting then driving.

I was worried that ice secret police was somehow become powerful. I don't feel that way anymore.

As much as I look forward to the day that these people are held accountable for their actions, I don't believe it will ever happen.

If we could count on accountability, Trump would have never been allowed to run, in the first place. He would have been in jail years ago, along with the rest of the corrupt politicians that enabled him.

The Democratic party is too weak to hold anyone accountable. They've proven that by sitting by, and letting this happen. They need new leadership, people that are actually willing to fight to preseve democracy, and the rule of law.

If Merrick Garland had any spine, this all could have been prevented. If Schumer and Harris had any fight in them, they would have looked into the inconsistencies with the last election, but they didn't. They rolled over and looked the other way.

Our country is at the mercy of drunks, incompetents, liars, and con men because of their lack of leadership. We've been hearing about how "there will be accountability" for 8 years, and so far, nobody has been held accountable for anything.

The Anerican people are turning against the facists, and are willing to fight back, but we have nobody to turn to, nobody leading the charge. We need more people like Newsom, Pritzker, & Raskin in charge, not cowardly, feckless weaklings.

Lol, my cousin has started bitching about Trump and I keep on pointing out that she got what she voted for.

We had a LOT of conversations about politics before election (we both quite political and enjoy talking about it - despite being on opposite side of the spectrum and in different continents), so she can't hide behind the fact she didn't know better but I leave that part out, even though she tries. I don't point that out to her on public forums tho since I do care about her but I honestly think she should feel shameful for her choice despite of regrets. At least for a little. 😅

He was elected because the people had only 2 choices lol. And Kamala Harris was not elected in the primaries and her whole campaign was things are not that bad and look Beyonce likes me so you should too.

The Democrats instead of saying we're gonna fight for working people, they say we're gonna keep everything as it is. We'll rely only on how bad Republicans are to gain us votes we'll give voters a positive reason to vote for us. We'll never actually adress inequality instead we'll just agree with republicans on things and pretend that makes us based and in touch with working people.

And when someone does come along that actually wants to create positive change then the democratic party will sabotage them in every way possible.

In a functioning system neither of these people would even have a chance of winning but it's dysfunctional so this is what they got. You can chose between fascism and a party who will try and be better than the republicans by the width of a hair cut into a thousand slices. This is the exciting reality.
