Those seeking a job in the federal government will now have to write an essay in support of President Donald Trump's executive orders, according to a memo from the Office of Personnel Management.

Vince Haley, the White House's head of domestic policy, wrote in the May 29 memorandum that all civil service applicants must answer a series of essays as part of the job recruitment process, including one about how they would "help advance" Trump's policy priorities.

I would think showcasing their credentials, explaining why they are working for Federal office, and doing the best of their ability to follow their duties as instructed by The Fed under the guidance of The Constitution not to give an essay on why Trump is a special special boy which anyone who has a college degree can obviously fake just to keep their job.

Literally, just spew out the same ‘know nothing’ talking points that Trump loves and you are free to go. No external thought needed.

Trump said in a hot mic he would like people to see him as a ‘Kim Jung Un’ of North Korea so, we know his thoughts and feelings on absolute loyalty and never questioning the Administration at all even if warranted.

So Dear Leader, TACO, Cheeto Jesus, now demands worship in writing. It's amazing to watch Fascism unfold in what used to be the USA but now looks more like North Korea or Russia. I guess a government purge is not surprising. It's in the Fascism playbook. What's amazing to me is how easily the bureaucrats and federal workers comply in return for a paycheck. Not even a whimper. Well, now we can see firsthand how it happened in Germany, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Cambodia, Afghanistan, etc.

That does not surprise me in the least bit! If they "new" (not the ones that Musk had fired being rehired) they must have been fired to become loyalists to Trump. He is setting this up to make himself look good. He actually believes folks will believe them (of course many who are blind will).

Government employees at all levels have always had to answer questions about how they would advance the policies of whatever department they are applying for. The article is just making it sound like something new and specific to this president; it's not, and it's not at all unusual.
