He is already suppressing free speech and freedom of assembly and protesting by sending soldier to demonstrations. What will you do when you can no longer vote because of some bullshit "national security" excuse?

How about if you can vote but your vote is scrutinized by Homeland Security to make sure you "voted correctly" ?

Based on Anti- government sentiment within the republican party. Isn't this why most people that support armed citizens say a Well- regulated militia was formed? To prevent a scenario like tyranny and over reach from happening?
I mean by the rules, trump is only allowed to run for 2 terms, but just like him saying "knows nothing about project 2025" he also mentioned "voters never having to vote again in the previous presidential election if he won.."
Like Bruh. If trump had a bridge in hanalulu to sell over half the country would fall for it. How many more times will people keep falling for it?

Armed citizens cannot prevent tyranny or overreach if the military participates on the side of the government, which they are very likely to do - and it wouldn't take all of them.

But if I see mid terms cancelled, it will be another arrow in teh quiver I don't agree with and that will get factored into my voting. I will call my representative on that one...

He can simply forbid them to be held and he'll be backed up by national guard troops in every state since he is now allowed to police civilians with the military.

How will he be removed? Congress won't help with this since the majority of congressmen are either Republicans who are too afraid of trump to do anything about him or Democrats who are too afraid of trump to do anything about him. Good luck with impeachment.
