Is Trump hoping to provoke an attack on America?

Question

Iran was no threat to the USA, but Trump bombed it anyway. Meanwhile, Russia is bombing Ukraine killing civilians daily, yet we don't see American planes dropping bombs on Moscow. Do we?

Now I've got a theory. We know Trump always has an ulterior motive for his actions. We also know Iran is likely to carry out a large scale terrorist attack on America soon in revenge.

This will give Trump exactly what he needs to justify actions against Muslims living in America. I. e. that was the plan all along.

Or given Saudi Arabia isn't on the best terns with Iran, was the free plane really a bribe to get him to bomb Iran?

Iran’s enrichment’s facilities have been on the target list for close to 2 decades. Hamas’ foolishness provided an opportunity to destroy themselves, Gaza, Hezbollah, the Houthi’s and now the enrichment sites in Iran along with much of their air defense systems and some of their few remaining F-14s. Hamas’ hate destroyed so much for Iran. Idiots.

Iran was long warned to not pursue nuclear weapons. They should be careful what they wish for because as it could lead to their true destruction but also perhaps a re-birth as a new democracy. Iran is teetering on destruction and revolution yet again. Perhaps it is time to light the fuse. Their next action will determine that and their government’s fate. Our best path is no boots on the ground this time.

But all of this is wrapped around a larger, more strategic issue. China has been manipulating Russia, North Korea and Iran to do their bidding so they can attack Taiwan without much interference from the US as the US would be entangled in these other wars. But that didn’t happen to the degree cowardly China needed. The West is on to China. So is the East. China is a threat to the Pacific and the world.

The United States has become like a servant to Israel. Through provocations, Israel has dragged the U. S. into war. Israel wants to be the only dominant power in the Middle East and aims to establish a Greater Israel. To achieve this, Iran is seen as a major obstacle, and Israel is using the U. If the existence of nuclear weapons in countries like Pakistan, Russia, China, North Korea, and Israel is not seen as a threat to the U. S., then why is Iran’s nuclear program considered one? Clearly, this is just an excuse. The U. S. knows Iran is not a direct threat, but it cannot go against Israel’s wishes. Israel is using the United States for its own interests, and a powerful Israel in the Middle East might even see the U. S. as its next target.

America has constantly been attacked by Iran.

Initial thoughts out of the way...

In reality the revenge strike will most likely be performed from US soil from people who have been in position to do so for a very very long time "just in case" as that would be most embarrassing. It could even be large scale.

I hope there are enough sane people left in our intelligent branches to muster forces first.

I think he took simple action to end the nuclear risk from Iran, possibly on ill advisement /baiting from Israel. Who knows the truth...

I don't think at the moment, he's trying to bait a larger conflict, but reading the media pages makes it sound that way. Listening to him speak, I don't think he does. It be very easy to screw this up and make it worse.

Remember, he murdered an Iranian General... and got away with international assassination.

Trump bombed empty buildings, nothing that cannot be repaired - according to initial accounts. Russia is fighting the USA and Europe via the proxy war in Ukraine. The USA cannot spare anything to attack Moscow.

The USA has engaged in more terrorism than Iran. But Iran doesn't need to attack the USA directly to cause its collapse. Cutting off oil and resources by closing the straights, blocking its access to regional bases and increasing drone supplies to Russia etc etc are all better ways to bring down the American regime.

Trump is a clown for headlines. He doesn't think further than one day at a time. Today he's on the front page. But he doesn't care what it will cost the USA tomorrow, and its why he will lose.
