I would meet with the House and Senate leaders of both parties (that's 4 people) and jointly develop a list of the top 5 things to work together on, and a plan for each. Then, on day 2, we'd start implementing the list.

1) I would put the 10 commandments back in school by simply proving that they are all logically derivable moral maxims. IN fact, SIX of them are derived from the Silver Rule, so Anyone offended by them must be an evil person.

2) I would ban all abortions nation-wide except to save the woman's life, and even then I'd require at least 3 physicians to sign off on it.

3) Ban homosexual "marriage". See below. Child molestors are homosexual more often than straight, and besides the very word "Marry" implies one is male and the other female.

4) Prosecute ALL Catholic and Protestant clergy directly or indirectly involved in molesting children or covering up for those who molested children.

5) We would have a unified definition of murder, and there would be no "degrees" of murder. Murder is murder and the penalty would be DEATH after ONE appeal. "Manslaughter" would mean an accidental killing, which the person may be liable for up to 10 years or a heavy fine of some sort depending on degree of negligence involved.

6) We would put rapists to death after ONE appeal.

7) False accusers would be punished the same way the accused WOULD HAVE BEEN punished had they been guilty.

8) Lawyers would no longer be allowed to present "theory" in court for either plaintiff or defendant, but must stick to factual, provable, an d relevant statements. That means you can't blame Casey Anthoney's dad for allegedly molesting her while "defending against a murder accusation. You'd have to stick to factual defense without poisoning the well arguments.

I am pretty brilliant really! I think highly of myself. That does not mean I am an expert on every field. Good highly qualified people around you working for a common goal is basically the recipe for success.

I suppose the first order of business would be to implement failsafes to ensure law is followed.
