Why is a woman’s murder seen as misogyny, but a man’s is just violence—despite men being killed by men far more often?

The point I’m trying to make is that men are killed more often than women. So why is it that when a woman is killed, it’s immediately framed as misogynistic violence, often without any context or backstory? This narrative ignores the fact that men are far more likely to be killed by other men. If the claim is that men hate women, then by that logic, they must hate themselves even more.
