The rain was coming down hard, and I didn’t realize how bad the roads were. The car hit a slick spot, and I lost control. I tried to steer, but it wasn’t responding. I remember the sound of the tires screeching and then the impact. Everything went black for a second. When I came to, I was disoriented, my head hurt, and my chest was sore.

I couldn’t move for a moment. I knew the car was wrecked, but I didn’t know how bad it was. I tried to open the door, but it was stuck. I finally got out, and everything around me was a blur. I couldn’t believe I was still alive.

Flipped a 4 wheeler with my brother. 360 in a car on a main road, and a left turn slipped into the sidewalk in icy rain.

I was always fine for myself but I die inside remembering how lucky I didn't hurt anyone else.

Now I'm remembering driving to my mother's village where they just throw another layer of payment over the old one where the old guard rail is lower then the road.

First time driving myself and my mother is leading. She was telling me how her heart sank on a narrow path passing a semi truck and I didn't give extra space and I never told her I was distracted by my ipod at the same exact time.

Then when I was driving with my mother's coffin with her in the same truck and the road was in shambles. Huge cuts in the side of the road and sharing the road with construction vehicles. It wouldn't have been a big deal flipping off the road, not a big drop and help was right there. The coffin and my mother's body...

I would have to start digging my own grave right then and there. I'm done for. I was locked in at the time but remembering it freaks me out.

I nearly drowned in the river when I was about 8.

Around the same era, I was spending the night at my grandmother's house in her bed and, while sound asleep, I found her revolver under the pillow!! (She liked spending summers up there alone and had the gun for protection.) I pulled it out, aimed it at the ceiling with my eyes closed and pulled the trigger, and, I think I rolled back over and put the gun back under the pillow. If not, I was still pointing it at the ceiling when my parents (downstairs playing cards) ran upstairs to see what happened. I COULD'VE had it pointed at myself or any of the other kids in the room, at the time!! I put a tiny hole through the roof.

I was the victim in a hit & run incident. I was walking and he came up from behind me OFF THE ROAD, hit me, left me for dead and kept right on going!

I had pneumonia 3 times.

I was driving a friend home and as soon as we got on the road, it was POURING BUCKETS and I couldn't see SHIT in front of me and came a couple feet away from slamming into a concrete road divider head on!! I don't know WHY SHE didn't drive!! She had WAY more experience than I did and it was her car!! Besides, we weren't going to another of her gigs, we were going back home so, she didn't NEED to deal with her make-up, anymore, until we got back home!!

I'd been hit by cars 3 or 4 other times but they were all accidents and gave me very minor bumps.

I got cut off by another vehicle while driving on an LA freeway at about 65 or 70 mph and I was driving a rear engine sports car that I was not all that familiar with. As I got cut off I turned the wheel apparently a little too sharply and the car began spinning out of control. Nothing that I was doing was stopping the spinning and through one rotation. I saw a large semi truck coming directly at me and I was thinking that was the end of my life. After all this, I wound up on the median of the freeway actually facing in the correct direction. I sat there stunned and shaking when the highway patrol pulled up and came up and asked me if I was okay. The highway patrolman had seen the entire incident and congratulated me on my driving and I guess the fact that I survived and that there was no accident. He waited for a few minutes and offered to escort me off the freeway and I gladly took him up on that offer. After a few more minutes I was able to continue my trip. This is the most terrifying driving incident I have ever had and arguably the most and terrifying incident of my life so far.

Yes, i got hit by a car. It was on a busy expressway and I do not understand why I am not dead.
