Yes. Unlike girls, boys are conditioned from birth to be expendable assets for the benefit of women, their children, and society as a whole. Having a preconditioned disposable sex is good business for the military.
Fortunately, the modern military offers women a multitude of ways in which they can contribute without being directly in harm’s way. Unfortunately, being directly in harm’s way pays better and is often expected of military personnel seeking advancement. Some women might find those choices more difficult to make than their male counterparts do.
It’s very likely that the primary reason men still greatly outnumber women in combat deployment is that men don’t hesitate to put their necks on the line for a bit more money or nothing at all. It’s what we have been trained to do from day one, like it or not. The military has little use for soldiers who value themselves above others.

I don't think my view will be popular, but that's why I don't think women should be in combat. I think bc men not only have a natural inclination but are also so conditioned to protect women, that a woman's presence makes it even more dangerous for the men.

In general, yes. No other way around it. Physicality is such a big part of the job and society grooms men to be more more attuned to a military mindset.

That said there are outliers. One of my favourites to mention is the argument for women being better Snipers. Physically again, usually goes to men and it is a highly physical role. However the shooting? Women all the way.

Not only do women perform just as well in terms of aim and sniping but interestingly enough your typical woman has less hesitance to kill than men do. In short both men and women are generally okay shooting men and do so with little hesitation. Men however near always hesitate when told to shoot women. Women do not hesitate to shoot other women.

So maybe there is a niche. Although I fully expect drones to be cheaper in warfare than humans soon and for this to become a bit of an outdated debate.

You can’t really give your best physically when at least for 1 week every month you just want to lie down or sleep more otherwise you feel nauseated and anything like running or intense physical exertion causes cramps or back pain. You can’t run too fast if you have to wear 2 bras to make sure no painful bouncing occurs. How do you fight with long hair that can make you vulnerable to attacks? Needless to mention most women are emotional (I guess) and that much violence can break you emotionally. It’s impossible for a woman to have a man’s physical strength.

Well there are a lot more men in the military. When you think of a soldiers you think about a dude. Men are socialized to be more aggressive and combative. And Testosterone does play a role. Question is does that make men better soldiers? Possibly? I don't know enough about the army. I guess it depends a lot on the career you are talking about. For Infantry I think those traits would be useful, but in water treatment, not so much. Another thing to think about is that you can be do aggressive as well. So those traits may not always be super useful.

To a degree, yes. Men are much better at acts of physical violence than women, and as men aren’t brought up to be as considerate as women, they aren’t constantly thinking in the same way women do, therefore it’s that much easier to tear down and rebuild the thought process in their brains as there’s less of a foundation to tear through in order to make them the ideal soldier.

Women are not built for rugged life as well as men are. Their bodies are physically weaker and more delicate than that of a man so they are not as good as soldiers.

And when I say women I mean straight women, not women who look like men.

In physical combat the answer overall is yes. However such as psychological operations women can be as good and even better then some men. The same with things such as pilots and snipers. Women can make excellent snipers.

Not particularly. Specifically, humans overall makes bad soldiers. If you look at military training then most of it is basically breaking people down to at least ATTEMPT to make something useful out of them but the results are mixed. Male or female does not really make any difference in any way that matters ultimately.

If you ever want to read about a pretty cool female US solider who died while in combat. She definitely deserves the same respect as any of the men who died in war. Man or woman they're both doing the same job and serving our country

Yea, men are stronger and faster than women, but not faster than a bullet, men also have tend to have more courage. The IDF tend to give women easier tasks than to men.

Police officers too. Bare in mind that most soldiers in the us army are in support roles ie logistics, payroll etc.
