I stopped watching the news afew years ago because it just gave me high blood pressure. I decided that part of the problem in America is that people are not involved in their futures. Now I am more active.

I used to follow the news and have lot of world awareness. I've quit that depressing habit though so tend to fumble through life catching the odd bit of news and care little for much of it.
