Voted "Yes," though that is probably not strong enough. I watch the news constantly.

Mostly I enjoy the debate shows - shows like Fox News' "The Five" and "Outnumbered."

To be sure Fox has a tilt, but in general they bring in people of sufficiently differing viewpoints to make for interesting discussions. Discussions that not only contrast views, but that allow the viewer or listener to learn something in the process.

Beyond that, I watch the evening news. This just for a general overview of the day. Plus, as I work in Washington, DC , it is important to keep abreast of general national and international trends.

Ironically, the only news that I don't believe I get enough of is state and local news. Once upon a time, the first half hour of the evening news was state and local. The second, national and international.

However, in the age of the Internet, this has gotten all quite blurry. The net effect is that sometimes I know more what is going on in Mongolia than I do in the next town over. I try to compensate by reading the local paper, but in the tech age, that media is slowly fading away.

All that notwithstanding, put me down as an emphatic "YES." I am a "new-aholic!!" Guilty as charged.

Yes, but I watch it from multiple sources world wide, not just getting your usual American evening broadcasts that leave out a lot of world issues. And it's still a lot better to read the news from around the world that isn't shown on TV.
