😭😭 Did Trump fire Stephen Colbert?

FOX's Johnny hit the streets to talk to the mostly peaceful protesters protesting Colbert's firing. He asked them why Colbert got fired. They all said Trump did it. 😜😜
None of them had a clue how much Colbert was being paid. Why would they know that? None of them had a clue that Colbert's ratings were in the toilet. They had no clue that Colbert had a hundred staffers helping him write crappy jokes. They had no clue that Paramount was losing 40 million a year on his show, alone. Why didn't they know these things? Because they get their news from TikTok and MSNBC. Orange man bad is all they're going to tell their low IQ viewers. They will believe ANYTHING.
One protester thought Colbert made $1 million dollars per year. 😜😜 Try harder. 20 million to be a flop. Why did they think Colbert could replace Leno? Leno had talent.

First, those protestors were paid protestors, who were just told where to show up, and what to say. They don't actually know anything and they usually don't really care about the thing they are protesting - they just have to protest between a certain set of time for the TV cameras if they want to get paid. The minute they are "off the clock", they disappear. Such paid protesters are paid for by left-wing doners like George Soros, and sometimes by the DNC directly. The purpose is to make it look like whatever issue has upset average Americans, and thus be used against the target politician.

But Colbert was canceled because it's going to lose $40M this year, up from last year's loss of $35M. The ratings begin their big decline in 2016 and have been falling steadily ever since, as the late night shows largely abandoned entertainment as their focus in favor of politics.

If anyone canceled Colbert, it was Colbert, by tanking his own ratings. But even then, he wasn't fired. His entire show format is being retired once his contract expires.

I would ge amazed if he replaced Jay Leno since Jay Leno's show wasn't on CBS. Even if Colbert was making too much $, his shoe and 60 minutes were both canceled before the merger, and they were the two CBS shows that made the most $. So CBS value dropped a lot with those two shows canceled.

No, Trump was just awarded 60 Million Dollars in a settlement with CBS over the 60 Minutes fake interview with Kamala Harris but this had no connection to the firing of Colbert. He did all this on his own.

While the timing admittedly seems suspicious, if my understanding is correct, the show had been on the decline since 2021 (really though, 2015, when this vacuum of happiness and fun took over... but I digress). Colbert had allegedly been informed months ago that the show was in danger of being canceled.
