I get pulled over quite a bit, then let go... why is that?

If there is any chance at all that you will get off with a warning it will be if you are polite to the cop. Say "yes sir" and "no sir". Do what the cop tells you and do not mouth off to the cop.
If you are hot looking , that definitely helps too.
