The Democrats are on the right side of almost every issue —certainly in the arena of social issues, like you literally have to be an outright bad person well beyond the realms of just politics to support what Republicans socially endorse— but they are absolute bozos at messaging.

The other problem Democrats are facing is that I think I’ve just realized that most Americans are pretty bad people, despite whatever redeeming qualities they may have…. when push comes to shove, they’re selective about who they extend their empathy to, if at all, and that just renders you inarguably “bad”, to me. “Me first” is something we’re taught is a bad attitude from like pre-school, yet we seem to think it’s ok societally and politically. That’s fucking crazy, and at very least, egregiously hypocritical.

So the Democrats are already up against it, by trying to sell decency to the intentionally-and-proudly indecent. The Democrats have a lot of good ideas; or if not that, they at least are steered by astronomically better intentions than Republicans. Like Republicans socially endorse attitudes that are absolutely soulless, and I can’t believe other humans admit to those feelings out loud to others. I would be so ashamed to think and feel they ways they do…. but they have no shame. So that’s what makes it tough.

So the Republicans have a pretty easy sales job: “Continue being selfish douchebags with no consideration or empathy for anyone you don’t know or don’t like.”

So I say that to say that the Republican political enthusiasm they’ve gained in this country in some of the recent years is kind of built-in to some level due to broadly poor quality character in our citizenry, but they’ve also keyed in on this strategy that we see here on the Internet everyday: portray liberals as insane weirdos who are pissed off about anything and everything, and they’re ugly and no fun at parties🙄🤦‍♂️

Its the whole Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro college campus debate strategy: find the purplest-haired, far left unattractive feminist with the biggest nose ring, and paint them to be the average Democrat and/or liberal. These guys are fucking nerds, both of them, and despite maybe having some intellect, they’re TERRIBLE people, who abuse their ability to be articulate to try to make the worst imaginable attitudes seem like logical no-brainers.

They’re also both kind of fundamentalist in their respective religions as well, and it’s maybe time we start having some uncomfortable conversations about the negative societal effects that are brought about by that brand of religious adherence, and allowing your personal religious beliefs to steer your proposals for broad societal compliance. That’s not ok, and we really need to stop tiptoeing around it in the name of “respect”, when they contort their own scripture in ways that they think allow them be DISrespectful, and to deliberately and nefariously mischaracterize groups or social issues to try to change the tides of public opinion.

Here’s the problem: Americans are by-and-large absolute idiots who shouldn’t even be participating in the democratic process because they’re irresponsible about it don’t do their required homework and vote on a “vibe” or some other dumb shit. Or they know the truth but choose to ignore it or manage to delude themselves into believing otherwise. Either way…. please stop fucking voting, holy shit.

So due to that, you can absolutely manipulate these goofs into believing that Democrats are drinking babies’ blood and bringing in asylum-seekers who are “eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs”….. like that’s absolutely fucking retarded to believe that, to borrow a MAGA favorite phrasing. So it needs to be accepted and embraced that we are simply not dealing with intelligent critical thinkers, these are almost entirely idiots they’re playing to. I actually did some math. TOP-END full gender reassignment surgery would cost about $134,000. Basic is like $3,000-5,000, but I’ll be friendly and assume they’d get “the works” in the scenario you oppose.

Almost nobody is trans. That’s the most important thing to remember in all of this. This is barely a noticeable segment of the population to even be worried about any sort of impact coming from them in any way whatsoever. But let’s overestimate that ten people would receive high-end gender reassignment surgery. I’m being really generous to your side of this with this estimate.

$134,000 x 10 patients = $1,340,000

America has somewhere in the neighborhood of 160 million federal income tax payers.

$1,340,000 / 160,000,000 = .008 cents, which would be a shared cost of.0008 cents per taxpayer, per patient.

You’d need 13 people to get that luxury-priced surgery to even cost each of us one penny. And they wouldn’t get top end surgery, and I doubt you’d have 13 patients. I’m not even going to bother doing the minuscule math for the $3,000-5,000 standard surgery for the MAYBE two people who would even get it, if anyone at all. It’s just about making it available as an ethical issue.
