Yes, absolutely they should. Just like the stolen and Russian occupied territory „Transnistria“ in Moldova. If Russia keeps militarily overspending (or Putin dies), we might see a similar collapse to that of the Soviet Union, which should result in a chance to throw the occupiers out.

Many rusyns and ruthenians have caucasian ancestry and are orthodox, on top of being victims of several attempted genocides, so it seemed to be morally sound at first, but was a ploy to make it into a big Russian resort.
