Complete nonsense. I've never met anyone left who thinks we should just give the homeless freebies without a plan to get them back on their feet. What we on the left believe is if your going to spend all day working for the president then you should get a wage you can live on that reflects the amount of labour you put in not the bare minimum he can screw you for. A fair days pay for a fair day's work simple as that

Why should I pay $20 an hour to you when I can pay a homeless guy $1 and brand him jobshy if he refuses? Why should I give you a pay rise or better working conditions when there's thousands of homeless who'd happily take your job?

Politicians know if you keep a big pool of underclass, be it homeless, unemployed or immigrants then they've got you by the bollocks and you'll tow the line out of fear of joining them. Welcome to the poppy party.

It's bad to force people to work just to give someone else the money who didn't do any work. Yes? We all agree. What we don't agree on is the answer to the question he didn't touch: why doesn't the homeless man just get a job? I'm just giving one obvious answer: most employers don't hire homeless people.

He did not explain how each party works. He just explained colorfully how one party works. Then she asked a question, and the answer to that question would explain how the other party works. But he didn't answer the question. He didn't finish the explanation.

NO it perfectly demonstrates how the right wing use child like grasp of WHY do homeless people end up being homeless when someone else has WAY more than they need that they have a lawn. Where is the structure to society that allows for someone else to be able to have so much more than they need they can profit off the labour of others.
