First off, notice how the headline doesn't mention that the kids want to go back and their parents desperately want them back? They have to make everything about evil Trump. I think the parents had good intentions when they sent their toddlers off, unaccompanied, to enter the United States illegally. But it may not have worked out as they expected because their kids are living in homeless shelters in the US.

But whatever the reason, why not let the children and parents be reunited? I think the Looney left is so hell-bent on stopping all deportations that they find themselves now between a rock and a hard place. Remember when they said Trump was "ripping" children out of their mother's arms? Now, the left doesn't want the children back in their mother's arms.

So, when you actually read the article (s) relating to this, including the one published yesterday that’s linked in the first paragraph of the article you screenshotted, the reason they’re doing this is because a large number of the kids don’t want to be deported to Guatemala. A number of kids came forward, with the assigned legal teams, saying they were neglected, abused, or some who still had contact with their parents had no desire to return and are genuinely afraid of deportation.
Now, it’s no secret that the AP isn’t a fan of Donald Trump, considering they were the only press group he made a point of kicking out of any and all press rooms in the white house and only gave them access after coming under massive criticism. At the same time, the article highlights the fact that a LOT of these deportations, these kids included, are happening without the due process they’re promised to anyone inside the US borders, which is highly questionable at best, a severe violation of internationally recognized human rights at worst.
