Oh, one other thing -- according to the same article, which is featured in 'RealClear Politics today, over that same ten year period, 180 Blacks and 222 whites were shot and killed by police.

It's interesting how people use statistics to paint the picture they want.

As my father used to say, figures don't lie but liars can figure.

it becomes more interesting to note that the black victim homicide rate is 20.6 per hundred thousand while the white victim rate is 3.3 per hundred thousand, and then look at the black and white offending rates (i. e-the people doing the shooting), which are 26.5 per hundred thousand for blacks and 3.5 per hundred thousand for whites, nearly identical to the victim rates.

What does this tell us?

Basically, on average, blacks are killing blacks and whites are killing whites.

That's not what some want people to see.
