I think it's biological. Out of all the races in the world, blacks have a much higher percentage of people who live their lives with more impulse and spontaneity. In the short run, life is a lot more fun this way. You can say what you want, do what you want, and have immediate gratification. The down side of that is you eventually have fewer good options in the future.

Examples: A child in school needs to wake up at a certain time to get to school on time. Some black kids do that, but a large number of them would prefer to sleep in, take lots of time getting ready, show up late for school, or maybe even not show up at all. Their reasoning for being late? "Hey, I'm here ain't I? What's the problem? Why you harassing me?" My wife was once a substitute teacher, and she said the white schools might have a fight break out once a week, but the black schools had fights breaking out EVERY day, and the black girls would just sit in the back doing each other's hair.

A few years later, that attitude carries over to the workplace. Instead of showing up on time, they show up... whenever, or maybe don't show up at all. Response? "Hey, I'm here ain't I? What's the problem? Why you harassing me?" The boss starts getting after them about it, and instead of straightening up and being considerate to the other workers, the black employee decides to get confrontational and mouthy. When it's time for a promotion, it goes to one of the more reliable employees who shows up on time and doesn't cause problems. The black employee assumes it's racism. Eventually, this black employee ends up quitting or getting fired, and when he/she tries to get a new job, what do you think the previous employer's going to say?

A higher number of black teenagers get into sex without condoms or birth control, because sex is "really fun!", and want immediate pleasure. The end result? Out of wedlock pregnancies, and a bunch of children being born to parents who pretty much act like children themselves. These out-of-wedlock children have no real home, so they hang out with other kids in the same situation. Here's how the gangs get started. They start getting into crime because they have few options. The stores (and jobs) close up in the hood and move out to the suburbs. The cycle goes on and on.

Those blacks who do try to be responsible, hard working, and considerate are accused of 'trying to act white'. I know it's tough being given a shitty hand in life, but this is also America, a country where you can start with nothing and STILL end up on top if you make the right decisions.

1. Let's start at the beginning. Race and culture are two different things. What batshit insane fruitcake racists like you don't understand is that there is no such thing as a racial culture. Culture is a belief system/group identity. Any freak, well apparently not you, can see that dark-skinned folks do not participate in one culture or claim a single group identity. The funny thing is that many folks without the skin color lay claim to being "Black". Some dark-skinned folks think they are Latino. Some claim to be Caribbean/Jamaican/Haitian. 2. So let's begin to analyze African-American Culture. Or what I have always referred to being "Black". Well, of course "Black" culture has issues with violence. Because of the way we define masculinity. Of course most "Black" men are well adjusted. . . well as well-adjusted as a "Black" person can be in a racist society. But we have "Black" men who define masculinity in three ways and this is a problem;

a. Through violence.

b. Through sexual prowess

c. Through proclamations of individuality.

I think the lack of fathers in the home plays a big part. The leader of the NAACP even says it's among the biggest problems. You look back and see the Welfare State caused the spike in Single Parent Homes over the decades. A Prominent Figure (can't remember his name) tried to warn about it ahead of time, but instead, he was accused of racism. Looking back now I think he genuinely cared because what he predicted is obvious now.
