Not at all. Millions of people knew him, and most of them respected him. The overly vocal minority unfortunately includes the mainstream media. Who dither between suggesting he’s a nobody who deserves no recognition to he was the antithesis of everything good and not only deserved to die, but his wife and children deserved to be forced to watch him die.

A little. Especially since Poland shot down Russian drones yesterday which arguably is a violation of article 5 of NATO. To me that is a considerably bigger story. Yet the Kirk shooting relegated it to a footnote in yesterday's news. And I ain't hating. I feel bad for Kirk's family. But on the avg. 49 people are murdered in America every day. What makes Kirk's so much more important than the other 48?

Not really because this was an assassination which is different than a politician getting shot and killed.

Not surprised at all. He was a hero among conservatives, and an evil person deserving of death among liberals, so everyone knew who he was. Both side of the political aisle jumped on it for different reasons... the right because they are outraged about it, and the left because they were overtly celebrating and using it as a political tool to support their agenda.
