First, he's not innocent.

Second, people can use their platform for whatever the hell they want.

Third, he is not a hero, he is a scumbag and he should not be celebrated.

Fourth, for the vast majority of people His death has no bearing on their lives so it's an entirely accurate statement to say that they don't care about this one individuals demise.

Fifth, ANY unnecessary death and or ANY death in the presence of one's loved ones and or a very violent death are ALL unspeakably cruel.

Not to mention George Floyd was a criminal. What was a cop supposed to do when he saw him break the law? Just not arrest him? "Oh but he said he couldn't breath!" Do you know how many dead cops there would be if every time they were making an arrest and someone said they can't breath and they just let go of them? Tons of people say they can't breath when they're being arrested and he didn't die because he got choked out by a brutal cop he died because he was high off his ass on dangerous drugs that killed him when if he wasn't high the arrest would have been fine. George Floyd isn't a martyr for killing himself with drugs while breaking the law. Not to mention all the looting and rioting that happened in the after math and the fact BLM was proven to be a scam that robbed around 10 million dollars meant to help minorities.

Yeah, and that rhetoric persists today. Despite the trial of Chauvin and others demonstrating that what they did was wrong, people are okay with it because Floyd was a criminal. Nothing he ever did would warrant the death penalty. So that makes his record immaterial. Cops are not judges, juries and executioners.
Is there a huge difference between a cop using excessive force and a political assassin though? Absolutely.
Be mad about it if you like, but Floyd was not a standup guy. Charlie Kirk was. Neither of them deserved to die the way that they did, but Floyd had committed violent crimes and he was an addict. He was unlikely to die peacefully even if he never encountered that bunch of thug pigs. Maybe Kirk was destined to die the way he did too. But this is a false equivalency at best.
Justifying the wrongful death of another human being because you don’t like the way they lived is wrong. Celebrating the wrongful death of another human being because you don’t like the way they lived is despicable. I don’t remember people literally celebrating Floyd’s death. This is not an equivalent comparison.
