A study done in India said good looking women had an 11 point IQ advantage over normal women, and good looking men had a 13 point IQ advantage over normal men. I notice the best looking guys and girls I knew as a child, all studied at the University of Toronto or at Waterloo as adults.

Kids raised by poor families don't get the best nutrition growing up and the lack of vitamins and quality protein in their early diet affects their looks in later life. You may notice people of different social status have a certain look about them, this is why.

More affluent families tend to care more about education and encourage their children to read a lot and study while poor families just bung them in front of the TV with a big mac. Combine these two facts and you can see why good looking people like myself are also geniuses.
