Do you think this shows how many people are so scummy?

I was at a baseball game yesterday and the amount of people who leave their garbage by their seats, food all over the ground, don’t bother picking anything up and throwing it out on their way out. I think those people show what awful human things they are. You make a big mess that other people have to clean up for you. You could at least make an effort to be as tidy as possible, and throw your own trash out.

That kind of thing has always bothered me. But it's not as bad as in the past. It used to be very common for people to throw trash out the car window while driving. The roads had trash everywhere. Then there was a campaign to provide free "litter bags" for cars, along with "don't litter" signs everywhere. That and the television campaign actually helped a lot.

The worst of all was smokers who emptied their car ash trays in parking lots. This was very common in the past. Cars don't have ash trays any more, so it's less common now. But I did see it a couple of weeks ago.

I feel the same way about people who don't put their shopping carts in the right place. And people who don't return things to the proper shelf. They decide they don't want it and just put it wherever they happen to be.

Indeed, and they’re everywhere. Then they b*tch about how expensive everything is. News flash, genius! If they didn’t have to hire a full-time renovation crew of four-hundred to clean up after idiots and jack*sses every single event, we could probably save some money.

Yes, it goes on in ball parks all the time. i aways throw my trash away in a trash can and taught my kids to do the same. But yeah, people are slobs.
