Do you think these people are messed up?

There are people who think its OK for a woman to assault a man for calling her a bitch. I think it's so stupid and extreme. Bitch is not even that much of a bad word. I been called a bitch many times but I never hit someone for it.

I personally think the b word is extreme but I must be honest and admit I am unfortunately a person that called someone the b word in the past. I do think physical violence is a natural response to something like that but I also think it is unnecessary. I person think the other person should be a bigger person and prove that they are not a b word without the other person's opinions.

I think beating someone for what they say can never be “accepted”, at least in the US, since we have the right for free speech. But if someone calls someone else a b*tch than they probably deserve a beating, just like if someone calls me a b*stard they deserve one.

The more important thing to remember is if you hit a man. You just gave the permission to use force back. And the guy can claim self defense. Best to just avoid hitting especially if the guys like 3 times your size. Gonna lose a tooth or black eye for the week.

It's time for men to start knocking women on their ass when they are physically violent. It's the only way to eliminate the expectation women have always had that they can hide behind their gender and think they can hit a man with no repercussions.

If it's ok for a woman to hit a man because he called her a bitch then it should be perfectly acceptable for a man to hit a woman if she calls him derogatory terms. Fair is fair. Getting physical and assault the guy... NO, definitely not appropriate. Maybe a slap in the face would be appropriate, but not a physical assault; for just saying something.

There are many different circumstances, and sometime may require a more aggressive response; but not just for calling someone a Bitch, or Asshole, or Fucker, etc.
