I personally think the b word is extreme but I must be honest and admit I am unfortunately a person that called someone the b word in the past. I do think physical violence is a natural response to something like that but I also think it is unnecessary. I person think the other person should be a bigger person and prove that they are not a b word without the other person's opinions.

Exactly, If they hit, they just proven that they are a bitch indeed.
You seem uptight

I think beating someone for what they say can never be “accepted”, at least in the US, since we have the right for free speech. But if someone calls someone else a b*tch than they probably deserve a beating, just like if someone calls me a b*stard they deserve one.
00 Reply413 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The more important thing to remember is if you hit a man. You just gave the permission to use force back. And the guy can claim self defense. Best to just avoid hitting especially if the guys like 3 times your size. Gonna lose a tooth or black eye for the week.
04 Reply- +1 y
Who cares if he’s 3 times the size? What an idiotic thing to say. If was ever to hit a man (I’m 47 never even contemplated it) I would be fully prepared for any consequences. I’m not naive and I’m not a helpless female. I can hold my own. Sounds like some men are waiting for a reason to hit a woman...
- +1 y
@SphynxUK Its not about being helpless its about your well being. If a guy hits you with everything he's got Its going to break bones. And you think he's gonna care about getting you to the ER? Nah thats not his job. So I hate saying this but tough luck guys are done playing "nice" after both women and other guys just give nice guys a giant heaping of ton of crap. Don't go about expecting to get chivalry out of every man you meet you're not like their mom or aunt.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThere are also more and more people who think it's OK for a man to punch a woman who punched him first, and I am one of them.
It's time for men to start knocking women on their ass when they are physically violent. It's the only way to eliminate the expectation women have always had that they can hide behind their gender and think they can hit a man with no repercussions.20 ReplyThey are just idiots who are potentially opening up a harmful can of worms. If it's ok for a woman to hit a man because he called her a bitch then it should be perfectly acceptable for a man to hit a woman if she calls him derogatory terms. Fair is fair. This mentality is going to hurt a lot of people.

+1 yWell, there this one gal I would call a bitch, she'd call me a bastard, and then well, you can guess the rest - - - -
but that was all "in fun".
As far as people assaulting each other with sassy talk all the time, they really do need to get a life!00 Reply 2.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I suppose you have two women that agree with you. I will say this, I won't say no to this idea. I'd prefer not to be slapped by a woman and I would be fine with never being slapped by a woman
05 Reply- +1 y
I have most people agreeing with me on here, not just women.
You have issues. - +1 y
Kinda if you think its acceptable
- +1 y
Okay
Getting physical and assault the guy... NO, definitely not appropriate. Maybe a slap in the face would be appropriate, but not a physical assault; for just saying something.
There are many different circumstances, and sometime may require a more aggressive response; but not just for calling someone a Bitch, or Asshole, or Fucker, etc.

A slap in the face IS assault
- +1 y
How is that not assault?
- +1 y
It's not ridiculous, it's a hit, used to hurt the other person. It meets the definition of assault.
605 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. That's ridiculous. You shouldn't be throwing hands over an insult and if you do, don't be surprised when you catch hands In return.
10 Reply817 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. There are women that have such low self-esteem, they will lash out at the slightest provocation.
20 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. We live in a time where people believe mob justice is legitimate law no violence is not the answer to a verbal insult

+1 yIt's a little bit too extreme to start physical escalation because of slightly offensive epithet, especially if the person who starts the escalation is physically inferior.

+1 yIf you have fighting words, you better be able to fight. Otherwise that's a bitch move.
17 Reply- +1 y
Bitch is not a fighting word, and how can a guy fight a woman?
- +1 y
If they start fighting when it's said to them then for them, yes it is.
And like this -(poof, paw paw, boosh, whic, hah, guh, za, oof, poof, paw, pow, buf)- block and jab, don't advance let her back up, make her back up -(sh gud, doof, pow) - +1 y
What the fuck?
This is retarted
- +1 y
The man would be punished
- +1 y
Na if she hits you block or hit her back she'll back off. If she actually wanna fight she'll fight. You don't break her nose or give her a black eye right off that would be retarded you just hit her to make her back up.
- +1 y
That's just immature and stupid in my opinion
- +1 y
Why? What am I supposed to do just stand there and let her hit me? Bitch I even look like I'd hit a woman (apparently, but I wouldn't tho unless she's starting it). If she hits me and doesn't expect me to do anything she's stupid. I'm not gonna kill her I'm not even tryna hurt her the first time, I'm just gonna make her stop.
It's just excuses i feel
If a women hits a man, she can
If a man hours her or says anything then it's bout women's modesty
Don't men have modesty?00 Reply4.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I welcome them to try, because my retribution will make them weep :)
10 Reply704 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The only time it's ok to hit someone is if it is self defense. Just because someone called you names is no reason to hit someone. Yes they are messed up
00 Reply23.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It is almost always messed up when one person hits another person.
10 ReplyDoesn't matter how much of an insult it is. It never gives you the right to hit anyone.

+1 yYeah that’s extreme over being called a name and getting physical for it
20 Reply I would never hit a girl. I would not call her a bitch either unless we were teasing each other.
01 Reply- +1 y
That wasn't the question,
It's never a good idea to hit simeone if they aren't trying to hit you, but better a woman hits a man than the other way around.
10 Reply3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If that is the worst thing she was ever called. She should thank the person for the compliment.
