Even if that's not the point of the meeting, decapitating the chain of command around the world is a crazy thing to do.

Why not tell the truth? Trump had that meeting with the Generals and Admirals to commend them on a job well done. It is nice when management recognizes outstanding job performance.

No actually the question is whether or not he is going to do this. I think he will do it in response to the problem of the midterm elections.

I think others here have said this but I will repeat it for the sake of posterity. If nothing else. This is going to come down to what the military plans to do when he finally crosses enough lines that if they don't do something he winds up just being the dictator of the entire country. He is almost there now. I think this meeting that he is having this coming weekend with the military is meant to ensure their cooperation as he takes over cities and government. If they cooperate with him, the country is finished. If they stop him then perhaps we have a chance to salvage some of us.

Well I want to point out to you that there apparently are already loyalty tests and they aren't blowing up in the face of the government at all. They are being imposed on members of the service as well as members of the government that were appointed and people who don't toe the line and agree are being fired and probably worse.

This meeting is a hard line everyone in loyalty test. I don't think the highest level brass of the military is going to play ball. Even on a individual level but in a group setting like this it's not going to be good for don.

If all of the generals marched to dc and forced congress to pick a new president just anybody else i wouldn't bat an eye.

I think he'll probably plan this before the 2028 election is held, or right about before the primaries next year. Watch for it! He wants to delay those elections as much as possible or get rid of them altogether.
