Newsom is being somewhat aggressive with Trump, but then again Trump's entire routine is one of aggression and rage. I suppose it makes sense from a political standpoint to meet fire with fire. I can tell you as a Californian that I think Newsom has been a pretty good Governor for us all things considered. He seems to care a lot about health care and the environment which are two areas of great importance to me and honestly to most Californians. We live in a beautiful state that we take good care of and we want to keep it that way. We also live in a state with superb healthcare institutions hospitals in educational institutions that we also want to care for. I have been a worker in these hospitals and institutions and still am and also a beneficiary as well. Trump would just assume destroy them. I believe that newsom would like to preserve and enhance them. If he runs for presidents. I am not only going to vote for him. I am also going to try to work in his campaign if I can to help him get elected as president. I think he would be beneficial to our country and would provide the relief that we need after the disaster that has been Trump for all these years.

It's also obvious Newsom doesn't actually believe most of what he tweets. I think he's doing it so people who are in the Trump bubble can understand how stupid it sounds to others.

It is not obvious to me, but I don't care if he believes it or not. All I care about is if he implements it. Trump sure as hell implements his cruelty and bad governing.

Not nearly as bad. For what we get here they are a great deal.

I live in the most expensive state in the lower 48. It is a total shithole. The roads suck, crime is getting worse and every thing is expensive. House and car insurance, property taxes, trash removal, everything is an add on fee. The electric rates have skyrocketed since our democrat governor is pushing windmills. It is a sanctuary state so illegals are everywhere and the schools are really just incubators for liberals.
It has been messed up for decades but now it has gotten a lot worse. My kids still live here and my wife will never want to leave them or else I would move to Florida next week

If Governor Newsom thinks acting like President Trump will make him effective, that says a lot about how successful Trump’s leadership style has been. But imitation isn’t conviction — Trump’s strength came from purpose, not performance.

Besides, this is President Trump’s final term in office. Next in line will be JD Vance — someone I fully intend to vote for. The majority of Americans aren’t drawn to Newsom’s politics or his posturing. Trump’s base is far larger, and most of them will be standing firmly behind JD Vance in 2028.

Not that you'll believe this but 98% of democrats disapprove of Trump and 94% of republicans approve of him. His support overall is in the low 40's and has dropped a lot since last quarter. It's down across all aspects of voters, except maybe democrats who probably still dislike him.
