Liberal in what sense? In the US it seems to be used in a social liberalism sense but elsewhere it can be used as classic liberalism in that people should be able to do as they see fit. Quite conservative political parties can call themselves Liberals in the sense they want to minimize gov't regulation.

In terms of social liberalism I would think women but in order to achieve that want a good deal of illiberalism.

For example DEI, thought & expression policing, attacks on people who don't conform, equal outcomes without equal effort... quite a long list follows.

Men would be more inclined to classic liberalism as they are inclined to stand on their own two feet.
