Because today's women are hypocrites. They say they want equality, but in reality they only want it when it benefits them, and not when it doesn't. Another example of that is men are expected to be the ones to approach women and ask them out, AND they are thanked for taking that risk by also being expected to pay. The hypocrites will say the person who asks should pay. How convenient is that when men always do the asking.
