This is probably over your head Sal, but it doesn't have to threaten ME personally to BE an overall THREAT to freedom, as a whole. Though this is surely too advanced a concept for you, I'll proceed nonetheless. There are so many areas, so let's start with higher education:

* Mahmoud Khalil, a legal permanent resident and Columbia University student, was arrested in March without access to counsel and sent to a detention center in El Paso.
* Yunseo Chung, a Columbia undergraduate and green card holder, was targeted by ICE using a pretextual arrest warrant; a federal judge later stayed her deportation.
* Rümeysa Öztürk, a Turkish Fulbright scholar at Tufts, was detained after co-authoring a student editorial; she was released on bond after a media outcry.
* Kseniia Petrova, a Russian biomedical researcher at Harvard Medical School, was detained by ICE despite no involvement in protests. Her colleagues say she was targeted solely due to her visa status and association with student groups under investigation.

All of these were intimidation tactics. The schools involved did not protest the free speech of these students, nor ask for government intervention. This clearly Trump overreach because he can't stand being challenged or questioned.

** His actions caused my significant other to lose her bodily autonomy in the state we were living in at the time. We since moved.

** He overturned countless safeguards in the health care industry, air and water quality control, federal minimum safety operations regarding trains, air transportation, and more. His actions directly contributed to the horrible train wreck in Ohio.

You may not see those as "taking away freedoms", but they take away the expectation of reasonable safety and care in order to maximize corporate profits. If nothing else, the freedom of one's peace of mind to expect responsible behavior by airlines, auto manufacturers, water providers, health care providers, etc., has been SEVERELY compromised.

But here's one even YOU can understand (big concession by me if you even get this far in one session); he's taken away the freedom to safely criticize him or his administration when you have too large of a following. Anti-Trump and anti P-2025 critics on social media have gone suddenly missing, and coincidence is too much to ask. One such critic, Harry Sisson, had ICE officers show up at his home telling him to cease and desist.

What's that gestapo tactic tell you? Your freedom to speak out is GENUINELY at risk. Dumb ass magats on here compart that to bullshit that the FBI was arrested maga hat wearers under Biden. Total nonsense. But this shit under Trump is real.

In many ways, he has improved it such as the freedom of speech. I don't always feel I have to watch in detail what I say so I don't "offend" the snowflakes. No more PC woke bullshit! No more giving our money and opportunities to illegal aliens while Americans are treated second-class.

When it relates to financial freedom and purchasing power, however, especially pertaining to food, maintenance work on vehicles, and the ability to buy homes, this still needs so much work. When people are financially strained, they lose their ability to have leverage.

He hasn't threatened mine at all!! In fact, I just got well over $500 because of him and will get nearly another $200 in a few days and every month hereon because of his policies. Then there's the upcoming dividend check I should be getting from him.
