Are preferences genetic or learned biases?

I hear that people cannot ever be judged on their preferences so I'm wondering why

Science is very clear some are biological and some are learned.

Example:

Women seek men who can protect them. Thats why height and strentgh in a man has biology behind it. (I know many men get grumpy when they hear that).

Men seek women who are fit, purky boobs, slim waist nice hips etc it signals fertility. Its also why men prefer younger women cause again fertility.

But then there is thought stuff like ethnicity, and detailed level stuff in height/weight etc.

Dont get mad at me.. get mad at science. This is coming from an ugly woman so it is what it is for me too

Like what height, strength, race etc and does this factor in going to the gym or pure genetics ability

I didn't say some men are scientifically unable to portect women but im saying strenght and height has helped men since beginning of time.

Like a tall man in a wheelchair, is he better equipped to protect women than a short man who's trained in MMA?

So then what does height have to do with anything?

Evolution. It signals more ability to proetection. If a man is fit and 6'5 tall vs man is equally fit and 5 feet tall. Most women will choose the 6'5 tall because it signals more ability for protection.

Same with men. A woman who is fit with AA cup (straight flat) vs a woman who is fit with double D's (perky) most men will choose second option cause it signals fertile

So when women and men pick unoptimized genetics aren't they tainting the gene pool and creating a society of defected people when we can maximize on genetic optimization?

Most of these generic losers (based on science) should be evolved out of the gene pool like we see in other species no?

People do try to pick the best options all the time. Thats why less attractive people tend to have less amount of kids. doesn't mean they all would he gone and it also doesn't mean birth defects can't happen

If you feel you're more attractive than someone and you tell them "I'm scientifically more evolved than you" if they get upset you have every right to make fun of them or look at them like they're stupid because they're mad about science, right?

Same with "bullying" they shouldn't get mad at the bullies, just be mad at science, suicide in ugly people is just natural selection

I never said that. I dont think anyone find childish behavior attractive. I wouldn't. Tbh if you are attracted to someone who acts super childish it would signal pedophilia to me. But ok

Preferences are learned through environmental factors like your family, religion, culture, etc. They are formed subconsciously in your childhood years.


Everyone is entitled to their preferences, not because they are genetic & out of our control, but because you don’t have to like everything and everyone. You’re allowed to be picky and not like certain features. It’s not going to harm anyone or anything if you don’t want to date a specific type of person.

I guess if you say "I don't date black people" what exactly would a black person be? Like what if she considers someone to be black when they're not, does that determine that it naturally is?
