My perception of African Americans? That they are like any other group of people. Some hot some not. Some intelligent and some dumber than a bag of rocks. Some have an epic work ethic and some are lazy as hell. Some prone to alcoholism and drug addiction and some with rigid standards for themselves and others. Short, tall, fat, skinny, funny and serious. Some are great friends and some I'd avoid like the plague. Some are extremely creative and some are better off laying bricks or swinging a hammer. Some are great mothers and fathers and some are not. Some are thoughtful respectful people and some are ignorant assholes. What else would you expect from any large group of human beings?
Exacly! 100% agree
I don't think I've ever met one. About 30 years ago I met a woman with a British accent and asked if she was from England and she said she's from Africa but, I have no idea if she was living here or just visiting. So, all I can say is that she was African. I have no idea if she was American.
Well, there are a lot on campus (we have 50k students) and I have never had a poor interaction with any of them. I had a bio lab course that had group work and the one guy was one of the sweetest, and smartest, that I have met.
Who are your most favorite African American singers and actors and celebrities?
I can name a few. I used to enjoy Beyonce quite a bit. She doesn't put much new stuff out that I have seen recently. I LOVE Denzel Washington movies. I think he is amazing.
I am not into sports a whole lot, but I did tune in to watch Lebron James play with his son in a NBA game considering how historic that was. From what I know and see from Lebron, he seems like a very nice person, unlike many pro athletes.
They are really good. They didn't contribute to US only but the whole world and cultures.
I also like:
- Micheal Jackson
- 2pac
- Malcolm X
- Samuel L. Jackson
- Laurence Fishburne
can't say. Depends on who. Just like if someone asked "what do you think of white people" well are you talking about the average joe or all the school shooters..

That’s a large group to bundle together…
I met mostly good, hard working like many legal immigrants. Making a living.
they are people just like any other kind of people. Too bad democrats think that they need special privilege that only succeeds in setting them apart from the general population.
Both of those are racist, and are not true for any ethnic group.
The blacks I have known who grew up in Africa before coming to the US have all been great, hard working and industrious people because they did not grow up in African American culture.
The second choice fits my perception of all US American people xD
They are all individuals who have their own content of their character.
Well they managed to get tourists banned in general from certain areas in Japan.
Mostly the appear to be offended by everything, accountable for nothing in recent years.
I don't like them much
C) This is a dumb ass question
