Cheney was mostly out of the spotlight now. He wasn't a good guy, but he is the author of what Trump has now. He supported the idea of a POTUS having almost unlimited power. In a way, the president was a monarch for his tenure. He also tried to claim that the VP wasn't bound by the executive or legislative branch, because he operated in both. Arguably he gave himself more power with Bush, than Bush had.

@exitseven Cheney's daughter is one of the few Republicans who ever made sense when she saw how cooked Trump is. She was unlike her father in many ways.

@exitseven January 6th was very real. A committee was needed to investigate trumps actions to see exactly what he was doing while rioters (terrorists in our own Capitol) stormed the Capitol and wanted to hang Mike Pence., He did nothing and was called on the phone multiple times by members of Congress and Nancy Pelosi.
That why Liz Cheney was part of that committee. A rare republican who isn’t a slave to Trump.

@WhiteBoyChill she actually did a couple of things that were pretty brave. She turned against the Republican Party and against Trump. She did it publicly, as a result they kicked her out, and then she was voted out of office. She did all of this because she said publicly that she could not tolerate Trump, and for that, I respect her.

That is a very good question. It's hard to tell for sure, but I imagine if he isn't walking around the streets in 10 years dragging chains, we will know that he might be dead. Maybe.

Normally I would disapprove of celebrating a Republican death but we have lots of Republicans who celebrate when a Democrat dies so carry on.
