I'm open to elements of Capitalism and Socialism. They both have serious flaws and some potential beneficial elements for society. I'm not dogmatically bound to either ideology. I think some western European democracies have demonstrated that a Capitalist economic system with oversight by a strong central government administering a few socialist policies and programs to guarantee fundamental rights to all citizens can work better for the majority of society than anything else.

Unrestrained Capitalism leads to corruption and unsustainable wealth inequality every time. Complete socialism eliminates the incentive for innovation and causes stagnation and apathy every time. Why not take the best ideas from each where they work and ride herd on the problems of each ideology where needed?

No. I am a Socialist/Free enterpriser. No one model fits modern society on its own. Its best to take the best of any system to get the job done for the betterment of society.

No. I like the mix of capitalism and social guardrails we have in our successful European social market economies, e. g. Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH).
