This is true in general -- the urban areas subsidize the rural areas. In Washington, the Puget Sound region (Seattle and environs) subsidizes eastern Washington. Portland subsidizes eastern Oregon.

Two democrat states electing democrats is not anything that that significant. President Trump's policies are working for most Americans. Inflation is subsiding , gas prices are down, cities are becoming safer, taxes are lower and millions of illegal aliens have been deported. The vast majority of the country supports the president and a few liberal states that are in the minority are pretty irrelevant at this point.

Trump got the big beautiful bill passed and with it a big tax cut for the middle class, funding for more ICE nd Border Patrol agents, and other pro business policies. The economy is poised to make a big comebsck in 2026 with tax cuts, investments in businesses and lower interest rates.
Trump is keeping the promises that got him elected.

Two states out of 50 does not make an election. There were no Republicsn states that held statewide elections or we would have a clearer picture.. The only one i could find was New Hampshire where there were two mayoral races. One in Manchester, the largest city. Republicans won them both.

Half or more of the country is tired of Trump's illegal acts and irrational behavior. He is the president of the country and as such, we expect him to be law-abiding and to make sense when he speaks to us. None of these things are true anymore and actually never have been in regard to Trump. We have tolerated much of his behavior, but the murder of innocent civilians has gone completely over the top among the starving children, which is what he is doing right now. None of this is acceptable and our votes and our voices are giving testimony to that right now and will continue to do so until this gets over with. This is our country too and you don't get to take it.
