How do strangers treat you out in public?

Today, I was sick and didn't think much about my outfit, yet I kept my running streak of getting complimented. I lost my voice at the doctor's office, and when the staff realized I wasn't able to talk, they all pivoted how they interacted with me. Which is normal, but I got a lot of high "awes" and "oh my goodness, it took away your voice". It kinda felt like I was a injured puppy. The same happened when I went to get medication and food. I don't drive, so I was waiting for the bus separate from everyone else because I was sick, but still an old lady went pass the other people and asked me a question about the buses.
When people need help, it seems like they run to me.
When I'm waiting to get on the bus, the men and older women let me go first. Sometimes, when I have less stuff than the person in front of me, they let me go first. When I go out to eat, I get free food, or they don't ring the extra price for an add-on item or if they ran off of something they give me what they had and something else. When I take ubers, some guys open the doors for me and when I have groceries, both men and women help me take it up my steps or ask where I want them to put it instead of throwing it on the ground. When I go to interactive places or museums, strangers allow me to tag along with them, and they'll have conversations about the artifacts. Overall, I think people see me as safe and treat me with manners.
