The only time I do is when men "holla" at me. An example is the other day, I was coming out of the store and getting into my car and some dude rolled down his window and yelled "Heyyyyyy wooooot you're hot!". I'm not going to respond to that. Anything else, no, I wouldn't ignore them, unless I felt threatened by what they were saying to me.

Sometimes, people catcalling and men who try to talk to me with the only reason to tell me something sexual or anything like that. Sometimes it's really hard to shake those men off, so I just don't talk to them in the first place.

The only reason I'll ignore strangers is if they are being assholes. Otherwise, I wouldn't ignore strangers if they are talking to me. I have a hearing loss, so if it seems like I'm ignoring you, then I apologize. No need to talk loud. Just make sure you get my attention, and don't be a fuckin dick about it.

Sometimes when I have time to talk then that's when I enjoy some company. But most of the time I just love sitting alone & think of many things that I've done already or I would be doing in the future. I keep my distance when my alone time personalities kick in.

And I was like "Wtf? I don't have a job. Why don't you give me money?"

And that philosophical question stopped him right in his tracks.
